Today, Old World Balloonery is owned and operated by Jason Jones. Jason got started in hot-air ballooning at the young age of 5, as part of the chase crew for his mother, Annie Laurie Points in Indianola, Iowa. After many years of chasing, Jason started training to become a hot air balloon pilot in 1986. Since then Jason has flown hot-air balloons all over the country and has logged over 2500 hours as pilot-in-command.

Jason and his wife Kim live in Overland Park, Kansas, and have great pride in Old World Balloonery. They are eager to share their passion and enthusiasm for the sport of hot-air ballooning with you.

Jamie is in his 25th year of flying hot air balloons. He loves the challenge and beauty of flying as much as he does meeting all of the great people who come out for rides.
